TOY TIMES^TM

In March of 2005 the Boston Area Toy Collectors Club began publishing a newsletter that was initially sent by mail to all club members free of charge. The newsletter was edited over the years by club members Ron Krzywonos, Beverly Lanzilla, and most recently by Stephen Lanzilla. Due to the increased popularity of the TOY TIMES^TM, its mailing list was expanded to non-club-members including: members of the media, retailers big and small, and many personnel employed by and working in the toy industry itself. It remained a free publication. As printing and mailing costs grew, the burden on the BATCC's non-profit treasury was unsustainable. The Club therefore voted to fold the TOY TIMES^TM mission into our website when it re-launched in March 2010. The type of articles that appeared in the TOY TIMES^TM will now appear on the website under that banner. The content is split into two categories: "Toy Reviews" and "Commentary".
